Giveaway + Lonely - Illustration Friday

To celebrate my cat's 2nd birthday I've made 3 super cute illustration to give away to anyone who wants them :) You can read more about the giveaway here, on my cats' blog.

Here are the illustrations you can win:

Aren't they adorable? :3 S CLICK and get them for free!

BTW, it's my birthday giveaway too! ;)

I've heard that bunnies are from the moon. But it can be a very deserted place if one of them accidentally lives alone. A bit like 'The Little Prince', but they have no rose or even a carrot there.

DS II 50

I've been offered a job :) Or rather - a monthly commission. But first I have to make three outfits. Here are some first ideas.

The are supposed to be painted in a very (I mean VERY) delicate and detailed way. It's so not me. But, well, there's always a good time to learn something new :)

I have already done one outfit as the first try-out. It got me further in the competition :)

The model-lady on which the outfit was done is probably not to be seen by the third party, so you'll just have to imagine her ;)

And now let's get back to my outfits!

More hair? No problem! XD

Lately I've done a few contest Tee designs. It was fun, I must say - designing a T-shirt you'd love to wear. I've stayed in the mood and here's what came out of it. There is still a men's Tee to make (you can see it on the sketch - he's got short hair so there's only music swirling around).

Highlights - Illustration Friday + contest picture

Highlights of this year? I don't really know - so much have happened. But you can say that this little green droid became very important so here's a picture with it :)

It's been a while since I've shown the whole process. You can see how I've made this illustration - I've used Wacom Inkling for sketches and Photoshop for colouring.

Here's a sketch of another illustration I've started - you can see it on my facebook.

Do you know this guy? :)

 Done! :D

You may not know - since it's a traditional thing only in Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia and Czech Republic - they are sharing Christmas wafers and wishing the best for one another :)

I've made a Christmas card out of this illustration and, hopefully, I'll win a cute white tablet. The contest is on this page - tabletowo.pl

Going on a New Year's Eve party now - see you again in the 2012.

Happy New Year!

From my cell phone

So don't be shocked with the quality ;) My cell phone's camera is no killer, really.

A big sketch of a contest work. You can see it finished here.

Few copies of my book. Well, book with my illustrations - I'm pretty lame at writing rhymes so there's no way of me creating poems for kids ;)

A cat from my neighbourhood that I visit as often as possible. I call her Grahamka but her owner calls her Pela. She was pregnant when I was taking this photo. Now there is a little version of her running around the yard.

Panda T-shirt - shame it was so shapeless, otherwise I would totally buy it :) A tee with Bubbles you can see on the right was not right too :(

My cat in a white boot ;P She got bitten just a while before by some bug but she didn't seem to care and was chasing them all the time.

Eating birthday cake at work. I've baked it :)

And this is my cake, also at work, which I got from the girls :)

Me and my friend Aria on my sister's reception party.

One of the gifts my sister and her husband (this word sounds weird) got for a weeding. A BIG piggy bank :)

Dog named Brudas living (from time to time) with my aunt and uncle. He's silly and incredibly big.

My newest book :) Will share more photos of it soon!

That's how people looked through windows to see what I was painting on pizza restaurant's walls. It was stupid and they've got me really distracted.

Now my cell phone's memory is clear and I have space to take more photos!

Lick it or you will get stains!

Today I found out that I have only time till midnight to create and artwork, make movie out of it and upload it on YouTube if I want to take part in a competition. And I wanted.

So I've spent few hours of non stop creating and then few hours shouting at movie maker software but I've made it on time :) I'm so glad ^^

The contest was about showing how you create a character from one of the Heroes of Might and Magic games. First of all I have chosen to do Raksha Rani - because it's a cat and I usually play with this nation. But it appeared to be too complicated to make his four arms co-operate with each other and the rest of the body....

This is how the sketch looked after more than one hour of sketching - I was constantly erasing some parts and changing them and then I had to change the rest to make it fit and then I've changed my mind and tried another pose and... it was a disaster.

So when I found out, today in the afternoon, that I have not much time left to make my entry I have decided to do something that always comes quick. Sexy girls :) Sexy girls made with pencil and scanned and then coloured in Photoshop - that's my quickest way of creating.

Played Christina to get into the sexy mood and I was ready to go :)

Normally I use Procaster from LiveStream for screen capture. But, unfortunately, it saves videos in .mpeg4 format and I had no (absolutely no) time for converting them to .avi. So I have used a different software and it was a disaster :/  You can see it on the movie. It was slowing down my computer and the video it created made a lot of errors while processing. Will not use that program again!

Nevertheless, the image came out really neat :) I like it a lot!

Lately

I have few things and photos that I want to show you. Here we go:

Some time ago when I was surfing on the Internet (it's sad but I actually surf on the Internet without any particular goal sometimes... It's so time consuming but you can find interesting stuff by accident too!) I found an interesting item. A box with empty postcards made of watercolour paper. I thought that it's a nice idea to make your own postcards and, although there's no problem in cutting bigger watercolour paper into postcard sized pieces, I found the box very appealing :P See for yourself

The idea of making postcards seemed adequate to my latest membership - in International Union of Mail-Artists. It sounds like fun and it's very creative so I want to try it.

Far now I've tried painting envelopes :D
A tip for you - if you wonder what type of paper is good for acrylics I will tell you - it's not the one envelopes are made of.

Tip number 2 - if you just have to make sth pretty on an envelope don't use coloured pencils, paints are a better idea.

Pencils like to make holes :/

Oh, and here are bunnies I won as a give-away from Pankimanki. The one on the left is Gaia and the one on the right is Hansel. They are sleeping next to my collection of Beatrix Potter's books :)

I still have few photos to show you. But I think it's enough for now :3

Birthday give-away! Yay!

This week I have my birthday and last weekend I finally launched my Etsy store and that sounds like a perfect opportunity to give you something, don't you think? :3

WHO?
I have three postcard prints of three of my works so I need 3 people to give them to. Are you willing to be one of the lucky three?

WHAT?
All you need to do is write a comment under this post where you will say why you like my work. Don't forget to write your name and e-mail too!

HOW?
Not your language? ;) To publish a comment you have to write it in a box underneath the post and click "zamieść komentarz". You can write it as an anonymous person or use one of the possible accounts given if you have one (like google or openID). Remember that orange button if used for final publishing of the comment. Easy, isn't it? ^^

WHEN?
The give-away will end on my birthday - 12th August and then 3 people will be randomly chosen and announced here. I will contact them by e-mail too.

So are you ready? I bet you are! :)
