DS II 43

More hair? No problem! XD

Lately I've done a few contest Tee designs. It was fun, I must say - designing a T-shirt you'd love to wear. I've stayed in the mood and here's what came out of it. There is still a men's Tee to make (you can see it on the sketch - he's got short hair so there's only music swirling around).

DS II 30

This one, on the other hand, was inspired by Lana Del Rey. The garland she is wearing in the original picture is fabulous.

Adelaida's summer

News about Adelaida: :D

* I have recently came back from a Heineken Music Festival and it was great :) I went there with my Love and we had an amazing time, except the fact that he sunburnt his back and was unable to do anything on the last day of the Festival. We have visited all local attractions including popular tourist's-oriented streets, beaches, aqua park and even a cinema (on the last day, when Love was unable to sit in the sun). The music was great. I love concerts and listening to music played live. It all gave me a warm feeling inside - happiness vibrations, I think ;) All in all, I will surely go there next year! But I'll try to convince some of my friends to go too! It'll be even more fun then *nods*

* Summer holidays started and I should by resting and doing nothing (and reading books!) all day long but... I am going on a computer animation course! XD I just can't wait till I learn some new things! Oh how I love to learn! :3 I'll take my camera with me and I'll be taking some photos to show you how it all looks.

* Because the course takes place in our capital city and it's Monday-Friday 9 to 5 (for 45 days) and Warsaw is 100km from my town I'll be staying in a hotel throughout the whole course. And that means some free time every evening - what for me is an excellent opportunity to bring back Daily Sketches :D (and read books!)

* I will try to open and get my Etsy shop running before my birthday in August, so then I'll make some kind of lottery, contest or just a giveaway for you. I have already prepared few things for the shop but it still needs some time to look perfect.

Since we lost our camera on the Music Festival I have only cellphone photos to show you. But better those than none, don't you think? ;)

Baltic Sea is cold. Damn it's cold... But it was nice when compared with the too-hot weather ;)

Special place on the Festival where you could buy extra cold beer and stay in a room with air conditioners. For me it was too cold there but Love liked the place.

One of the best concerts on this Festival - The Hives. They were really energetic and funny, with all those stories, jumps and silly uniforms. Kasabian played great too but there was much more enthusiasm in The Hives performance.

Forest Maker (Marathon - Day4)

I thought I would not have time to create anything on Friday because we were going on a Selector Festival with my <3 but there was a longer unexpected brake during classes at university so I did the outline to my work. An outline is a good start ^^

When we finished our classes we were going on the railway station almost at once. There would be no fun with no stress so the bus was late and then late again and we were close to not catching our train but, fortunately, it was late too :D Ridiculous ;P

When in Cracov, we ate our favourite ice-creams and went on foot to the place where the festival took place. It was a bad idea, I can say it now, since after all those walking, jumping, standing, jumping and walking back my feet fainted and I felt not-that-great ;] But my face wore a broad smile all the time C:

The stage with Franz Ferdinand on playing :) They gave an amazing show <3

I did not have much sleep lately, all because of the Sims 3, but I still create! And I have finally finished this one :3 Lovely, isn't it?

It's some kind of a Forest Spirit, the one that makes trees. Firstly, I thought it will be a ghost but I've ended up with a colourful thing that looks like an enormous worm.
Nice =:3

Old tunes

I have some music problems lately...I don't know what exactly I want to listen and so I end up changing music genres and bands all the evening and none of the work waiting is done. Advantage of this is that I've re-listened songs I've almost forgotten about :) Oh, those are nice songs and they were my favourites some time ago.

Jay-Z and Linkin Park - Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You
Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl
Bonobo - Ketto
Cat Power - Sea of Love
Lily Allen - Knock Em Out

Five is enough for you :) Each of the songs suits my different mood so it's hard to compare them. Still, I like them all and I wonder how is that possible I've nearly forgotten about them..

I've pushed a bit all the commissions I had to do (and I still have to do) and I feel relieved. Like if nothing was hanging above my head and neck now. And as usual it took me so little time! I should have done it earlier! It's always the same. That's why, although it's the contest's deadline today, I've just started to do my entry. Ech... It's high time to do something, anything, properly. Sit down to it a week earlier and change ideas, play with colours, not get angry - just have fun doing what I, in fact, really enjoy.

Fairy-tale illustration for a school. Hmm... what tale can it be? ;)

Part of an outline of a portrait I'm doing. I can already feel it will be a great piece :D

First sketch for the contest I've mentioned. I've tried to use this idea (girl sitting on a little bridge and putting her foot to the water) but it just didn't look right. I've changed the idea and it looks fine now. I'll show it later on.

Two more sketches for my diploma. This time me in bed with a little Faceless Faerie guarding my dreams and me playing Heroes of Might and Magic V with my over-enthusiastic sister. I really like her face expression. Believe me - she looks just like that when we play. And she can't stop talking.
